“ANYO” is a Pilipino term, which means appearance or likeness, and it is also the title of the Philippine Artists Group’s next art exhibition. For the first time in the history, the PAG is having this very special all portrait and caricature show.

It showcases another aspect of the group’s talent, which has never been shown in public before – the art of portraiture and caricature. It promises a different kind of treat for everybody, specially art lovers, art collectors and would be art collectors.

The show runs from September 6 – 24, 2000 at the Neilson Park Creative Centre. Consul Susan O. Castrence as guest of honour and all the artists in attendance.

The participating artists in “ANYO” are: Ed Araquel, Frank Cruzet, Art B. Cunanan, Jhun Ciolo Diamante, Tony Doctor, Dun Luna, Fred Galang, Rol Lampitoc, Tony Leyco, Leo Lopez, Romi C. MananQuil, Omel Masalunga, Toots Quiachon, Frank Tonido and Carol Villasanta.

Aslo joining are Beth Aguilar, Rudy Leyco, and Rey Mangilinan as guest artists.
