Originating from surplus U.S. military jeeps that remained after World War II, following the departure of American troops from the Philippines after World War II, hundreds of these surplus military Willys Jeeps were left behind.
These colorful, repurposed vehicles are widely known as the "kings of the road" and serve millions of daily commuters.
